Being in Cluj-Napoca means you’re in one of Romania’s most vibrant cities, and this spot gives you the perfect base without the tourist chaos. I mean, you’re close enough to walk to the old town when you want that energy, but far enough away that you actually get some peace at night. The tram connections are solid too — I found myself hopping around the city pretty easily.

The Space Itself

Here’s what I loved most: this isn’t your typical hotel room setup. The apartment style means you’ve got actual space to breathe, plus a proper kitchen if you want to grab some local ingredients from the market. The design feels modern but not sterile — sort of like staying at a friend’s place who happens to have really good taste.   We stayed at the Blue Apartment for 5 nights as a family of three and had a wonderful experience. The apartment was spotless and very comfortable, making it a great home away from home. The location was perfect for us—it’s close to public transportation, which made getting around easy, and there are plenty of stores nearby for groceries or anything else you might need. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming; he waited for us to arrive and personally showed us around the apartment and its facilities. We highly recommend staying here and would definitely book it again in the future!
