You know what I love about this spot in Cluj-Napoca? It’s far enough from the tourist chaos around Piața Unirii that you actually feel like you’re living in the city, not just visiting it. The neighborhood has this authentic residential vibe where locals walk their dogs and grab morning coffee from the corner shop. Yet you’re still only about a 15-minute walk to the historic center, which is honestly the sweet spot for exploring this city.

The Apartment Experience

This four-star place gets the apartment concept right in a way that a lot of places don’t. Each unit feels like someone’s actual home rather than a sterile hotel room with a mini-fridge shoved in the corner. The kitchen is properly equipped — I mean, you can actually cook a real meal here, not just reheat leftovers. The living spaces flow naturally, and there’s enough storage that you don’t have to live out of a suitcase for your entire stay.

Comfort & Amenities

The beds are seriously comfortable, which matters more than you think when you’re exploring Cluj-Napoca’s hills all day. Air conditioning works well (crucial during those surprisingly warm Romanian summers), and the Wi-Fi is reliable enough for video calls back home. There’s parking available, which is actually a big deal in this part of the city where street spots can be tricky to find. The bathrooms are modern and well-designed — good water pressure, plenty of hot water, and they’ve clearly been updated recently.

Why Guests Love It

That 9.9 rating isn’t an accident. The owners clearly understand what travelers actually need versus what hotels think we want. It’s the little things — blackout curtains that actually block light, a dining table where you can spread out and plan your day, and enough space to not feel cramped if the weather keeps you inside. Plus, the value here is exceptional for what you get. You’re paying apartment prices but getting service and attention that rivals much pricier hotels in the city center. It’s become my go-to recommendation for anyone who wants to experience Cluj-Napoca like a temporary resident rather than a passing tourist.

• It's great for a week-long stay, green area with parking, close to enough facilities. – David from Romania – September 2, 2025 (9/10)

  The area is very green & quiet. The apartment & neighbours were also quiet, it is pretty close to Iulius Mall and other local shops and the walking paths are quite nice! There is also a local market midweek where I got some delicious blackberries.
  The bed & pillows were comfy, the shower was great (spacious + water pressure).
  It was overall surprisingly well-stocked, I enjoyed staying here for a week.
  
  What could be improved: There was some renovation work on the higher floors during the day which was noisy, but I wasn't around either way.
  Something to be aware of is that airplanes can be heard in most of the Cluj at night so no sleeping with the balcony door open (Closed door + AC is a good alternative)

  It had everything we needed for a 5 day stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, there were extra towels and bedsheets, the neighbourhood is safe and quiet. The host was very polite and helpful and he answered all our questions with extra details. The apartment si nicely furbished and decorated and everything was clean and in order.

  The apartment is in a good location, with the mall 5min away and airport 15min away by car. Very clean and comfortable, you have everything you need in the apartment, from essentials in the kitchen to lovely towels in the bathroom. Parking was great, as it's not easy to have private parking.
