The main pedestrian zone and Piața Unirii are close enough for evening strolls, but far enough that you’re not dealing with late-night noise from the bars.

The staff here — and I mean this — actually seem to care about what they’re doing. When I mentioned I was trying to find a good local wine shop, the front desk guy drew me a little map and wrote down three specific bottles to try. The housekeeping is thorough without being intrusive, and there’s parking available, which trust me, is not something you should take for granted in Cluj-Napoca’s city center.
