There’s a small café around the corner that locals actually go to, and the nearby park is perfect for morning walks when you need to clear your head.

The Apartment Experience

This isn’t your typical hotel room — it’s a proper apartment setup that makes you feel like you’re living somewhere rather than just passing through. The kitchen is fully equipped (I mean really equipped, not just a mini-fridge and hope), which saved me a fortune on meals and let me try cooking with ingredients from the local market. The space has this comfortable, lived-in feeling without being shabby — everything’s clean and well-maintained, but it doesn’t feel sterile like some places do.

The bed situation is spot-on — firm enough to actually sleep well, soft enough that you don’t feel like you’re camping. What impressed me most was the attention to details you don’t always think about: good water pressure in the shower, proper blackout curtains, and WiFi that actually works when you need it. There’s even decent parking nearby, which anyone who’s driven in Cluj-Napoca will tell you is no small thing.

Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of places that promise the world and deliver airport hotel vibes, but this one gets the balance right. You get the independence of having your own space without feeling isolated or unsupported — the staff are helpful when you need them and invisible when you don’t. The combination of being in a real neighborhood while still having proper amenities makes it work for both short visits and longer stays. Plus, at this price point in Cluj-Napoca, you’re getting genuine value rather than just paying for a brand name.

  The facilities and space were just great for our family. Felt like a suite in a 4 star hotel, except one thing – mentioned below. Also the furniture, design and decorations were exceptional
  
  What could be improved: Before describing, note that everything is new – the windows, the bathroom, the furniture, everything. All are excellent. One single thing – the bathroom fan is automatic and quite powerful – if you close all the windows the fan can create negative pressure in the room and suck a bit of smell from the water drainage in the bathroom – however it is enough to open just one window (anywhere in the apartment, since clean air flows under the bathroom door as it should) to fix this. If you leave any window half open, air quality is perfect
