The neighborhood has this authentic energy with corner shops, small cafes where people actually chat with each other, and tree-lined streets that make evening walks feel almost mandatory. You know what’s great? You can walk to the city center in about 15 minutes, but you’re far enough away that you don’t hear party noise at night.

The apartment setup is honestly perfect for anyone who wants more than just a hotel room. I mean, having your own kitchenette changes everything — suddenly you’re not forced to eat out for every meal, and you can grab fresh produce from the local market and actually do something with it. Local Insider Knowledge

Here’s something the guidebooks won’t tell you — there’s this little restaurant about two blocks away that serves the most incredible mici (those Romanian grilled meat rolls), and the owner’s wife makes homemade bread that’ll ruin you for store-bought forever. Also, parking around here is actually manageable, which anyone who’s driven in Cluj will tell you is basically a miracle. The nearby Marasti Market happens twice a week and it’s where you’ll find the best seasonal produce and local honey.

  we stayed for a whole week and as a family of 6 we need lots of space and we had plenty in this apartment. The little kids loved the toys (there were some next to the entrance) and the extra crib. Traveling with 2 cars because we had something to transport, we always found free parking spots, which was ideal for us. ++ there was some beer as a gift, much appreciated

  The apartment was very spacious, I was pleasantly surprised.Very clean, good temperature, lovely bathroom, good location, not 5 minutes from the bus station. Great communication with the host, I thought she had years of experience with this. Although it's at level -1 there is light during the day in the rooms. Definitely worth the money 👏🏼
