Here’s what I wish someone had told me before booking: Strada Oașului isn’t in the thick of the Old Town action, but that’s actually a good thing. You’re close enough to walk to the center when you want the energy of Piața Unirii, but far enough away that you can actually sleep at night without hearing every group of students wandering home. The tram connections are solid if you don’t feel like walking, and there’s decent parking nearby — which matters more in Cluj than you might think.

The Daily Details

The staff here genuinely seems to care about getting things right, which shows in small ways throughout your stay. Housekeeping is thorough without being intrusive, and they’re pretty good about restocking everything you actually need. The wifi works properly (always worth mentioning in Romania), and the water pressure is consistent — those little things that can make or break a longer stay.

  For this amount of money it's like a joke… a very good joke!
  Free parking, fully equipped kitchen, few minutes from center, balcony. Everything is just quality!

  We had a great stay at Evo Residence Oasului. The apartment was new, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen had all the essentials, including a coffee machine with coffee provided – a nice extra! The bed and the sofa bed were very comfortable, and the main room had air conditioning. It really felt like we were among the first guests to stay here. Highly recommended!

  The apartment is new and has everything you need. Besides that it is very clean and the private parking underneath the apartment is a big plus. Response and help from the staff was also very good. Would stay here again without a doubt. Public transportation stops right in front of the door and a very good bakery right across the building.

  Nice apartment on 2 levels. Comfortable beds and clean.
  
  What could be improved: There's no washer or dryer rack for your clothes.
  The main problem was the broken toilet in the master bathroom.
  It was hanging from the wall, supported by a rolled towel on the floor.
  We had to keep the bathroom door closed with the fan on continously to help with the smell coming from the broken plumbing… not something we anticipated when we booked the apartment.
  We were very disappointed as the reason we booked this apartment was the fact that it had 2 full bathrooms.
