When I first walked up to Liberty Feeling Studio on Strada Gării, I’ll be honest — the residential building doesn’t exactly scream “hotel” from the outside. But you know what? That’s actually part of its charm. This four-star place sits right in the Liberty Residential complex, and once you’re inside, it feels more like staying at a really well-designed friend’s place than a typical hotel room.

Location & Getting Around

The location in Cluj-Napoca is pretty smart, actually. You’re close enough to the train station that you can hear the occasional rumble (though it’s never bothered me), but far enough from the city center chaos to actually get some peace. I mean, you can walk to the main square in about 15 minutes, or just hop on public transport — there’s a bus stop literally around the corner. The residential area means you’ve got local bakeries and small shops nearby, which honestly gives you a better feel for how people actually live here.

The Studio Setup

Here’s where this place really shines — the studio layout is thoughtfully done. You’ve got a proper kitchenette that’s actually functional (I’ve made coffee and simple meals without any issues), and the space feels way bigger than you’d expect. The modern furnishings don’t try too hard to be trendy, they’re just… comfortable. Good lighting, decent storage, and a work area if you need to get things done.

What Sets It Apart

The attention to detail here surprised me. Fresh linens that actually smell good, not just clean. The Wi-Fi works everywhere (yes, I tested it), and the building’s parking situation is sorted — which, if you’ve driven in Cluj-Napoca, you know is a blessing. Plus, the staff genuinely seems to care about making sure you’re settled in. They’re not hovering, but they’re responsive when you need something.

Why Guests Love It

Look, this isn’t about flashy amenities or a fancy lobby restaurant. What works here is the combination of independence and comfort — you get your own space to spread out, but with hotel-level cleanliness and service. The perfect rating makes sense when you consider what they’re actually trying to do. It’s ideal if you’re staying more than a night or two, or if you just prefer having some kitchen space and room to breathe. Plus, being in a residential area means you’re experiencing Cluj-Napoca more like a local would, not just bouncing between tourist spots.

  One of the best places I’ve stayed in Cluj! The studio is situated in a new residential development with secure underground parking, and the interior genuinely feels like a high end hotel. It’s beautifully designed, modern, and absolutely spotless.
  
  The bed was exceptionally comfortable with top quality bedding, spacious shower, washing machine. The host has thought of everything, premium toiletries, a coffee machine stocked with plenty of capsules, lovely tea, and even a bottle of water waiting on arrival.
  
  The balcony was a real highlight, the perfect spot for a peaceful morning coffee.
  
  The host was fantastic: incredibly attentive, responsive, and clearly dedicated to ensuring guests have a seamless experience.
  
  I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this studio to anyone visiting Cluj. I’ll definitely be returning!
