You’re about a 15-minute walk from the old town center, which I actually prefer to being right in the thick of things. The neighborhood is quieter, more residential, but you’re still close enough that getting to Piața Unirii or the main shopping areas is no big deal. There’s decent parking available, which matters if you’re driving — trust me, finding a spot near the historic center can be a nightmare during peak season.

The Room Experience

My room had this nice blend of modern amenities and traditional touches that felt authentic rather than forced. The beds are genuinely comfortable (not just hotel marketing speak), and the bathrooms are well-designed with good water pressure — something you don’t always get in boutique properties. What I really appreciated was the attention to soundproofing; even though you’re in a city, the rooms stay surprisingly quiet at night.

Dining & Local Flavor

The on-site restaurant serves solid Romanian cuisine with a contemporary twist, and the portions are generous without being overwhelming. Breakfast is worth getting up for — they do this excellent selection of local cheeses and cured meats alongside the usual continental options. The staff here actually knows the neighborhood well, so don’t hesitate to ask for restaurant recommendations beyond what’s in your guidebook.

• A little oasis in Cluj Napoca – David from Spain – August 1, 2025 (9/10)

  The hosts are lovely people, and the location can allow quick access to the city center. It is near the airport, but we weren't bothered by it. Yes, you will hear roosters, but I normally sleep with a sound machine, so no biggie. It was very spacious with all but 1 bed upstairs. There's AC if needed upstairs. We had a snafu on our arrival where we couldn't reach the host on the property or by any other communication. I initially lept into scam mode due to having 2 children with me, but everything was resolved within an hour. A phone died, the gate bell wasn't working… The host was super apologetic and tried to make everything moving forward as pleasant as possible and even tool the opportunity to check in on us. If you have a car, you will share the driveway, but we didn't have any difficulties with parking. One highlight was the birds in the garden and the super friendly Lexi. If we're every in the area we would book again. It was nice, calm, relaxing environment where you can recharge.

  Nice and big apartment, first floor is the kitchen, living room and bathroom, second floor is a large bedroom. Close to the airport. Air-condition at the bedroom. The host is really welcoming. Small mini market nearby. Quiet neighborhood.

  Very accommodating host, waited for us to check in late at night due to the arrival time of our flight. Very clean place and comfortable beds.

  The owner was very welcoming and also assisted us in charging our electric car overnight. He further organsied a taxi for me since I had to leave my family and take a 4am flight. The taxi was on time and we had a smooth stay – highly reccomended and super close to the airport.

  Sehr nette Besitzer, das Haus war total geräumig und sauber. Mit dem Bus dauert es 10-15 Minuten in die Stadtmitte.
