Each apartment feels genuinely livable — not just some cramped hotel room with a mini-fridge shoved in the corner. The kitchen actually works for real cooking (I made coffee every morning and even attempted dinner once), and there’s enough counter space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped.

The whole setup feels refreshingly practical. You get proper storage space, a decent-sized bathroom, and windows that actually open — little things that matter when you’re staying more than a couple nights. The WiFi worked perfectly throughout my stay, which isn’t always a given in Romania. I mean, the decor won’t win any design awards, but everything’s clean and functional in that Scandinavian-ish way.

Here’s what I discovered about this area — you’re positioned really well for exploring beyond just the tourist spots in Cluj-Napoca. There’s a decent grocery store within walking distance, and the neighborhood feels authentically Romanian without being sketchy. Parking was never an issue, which honestly made my life so much easier. If you’re planning day trips to places like Turda or the Apuseni Mountains, this location actually works better than staying right downtown.

Plus, you’ll save money eating some meals in your own space instead of hitting restaurants for every single meal.

  What could be improved: I've been badly disappointed by it's cleanliness. It's been a bit dirty. I can't say, that nobody has cleaned this before our arrival, but the dirt was really old, floor was sticky. And, honestly, dirty towel… it was too much 🙁
