You’d walk right past it if you weren’t looking — there’s no flashy hotel sign, just a quiet entrance that feels more like visiting a friend’s upscale apartment. Once you’re inside though, this four-star property absolutely delivers on its promise of being an oasis in Cluj-Napoca.

Location & Getting Around

The Anton Pann street location is actually brilliant if you know the city. You’re about a 10-minute walk from the main square, but tucked away from all that tourist chaos. I loved how quiet it gets at night — you can actually sleep with the windows open. The neighborhood has this lived-in feel with locals heading to work in the morning and corner shops that stay open late.

The Space Itself

What you’re getting here is essentially a high-end serviced apartment experience. The room I stayed in felt more like a mini-suite, honestly — there’s actual space to spread out your stuff instead of living out of a suitcase. The kitchen setup was way more functional than I expected, with a proper fridge and everything you’d need to make coffee that doesn’t taste like hotel lobby brew.

What Works Really Well

The owners clearly put thought into the details that matter. The wifi actually works throughout the space (I was on calls all day with zero issues), and the shower pressure is what you’d hope for after walking around Cluj all day. They’ve managed to create this calm, residential vibe while still feeling polished. The cleaning standards are spot-on too — everything felt fresh without that overpowering chemical smell some places have.

Why Guests Love It

Look, if you want a traditional hotel lobby scene with a restaurant and concierge desk, this isn’t your place. But if you’re the type who values space, quiet, and feeling like you’re actually staying somewhere rather than just passing through — New Central Luxury Oasis nails it. The 8.7 rating makes complete sense once you’re there. It’s one of those finds where you end up staying longer than planned, just because it feels right.

  I loved the fact that we had an underground dedicated parking spot. I liked the apartment, clean, fully equipped.
  I also liked the communication with the host and all the instructions regarding how to get there and how to do everything.
  It is indeed a very clean and cozy apartment and at a very good price.

I don't know where the sixth person could sleep, who was originally planned with us but then didn't come?
