I actually enjoyed the morning walk into town — you pass by local bakeries and see how people actually live in this part of Romania. There’s decent parking right at the property, which is honestly a relief if you’re driving (and trust me, navigating Cluj’s narrow streets with a rental car is… an adventure).

The Room Experience

My room was simple but thoughtfully arranged — clean lines, decent lighting, and a bed that didn’t leave me counting sheep or nursing a sore back. The bathroom was compact but functional, with good water pressure and actually hot water when you needed it. What struck me most was how quiet everything was at night; being in this residential pocket means you’re not dealing with the usual city noise that keeps you up in downtown hotels.

  It was close to the airport. We were able to have a 2 bedrooms apartment. ( please be aware these means 2 rooms and a bathroom, no lounge, kitchen etc).

  Really hard to find as the owner has 3 buildings with same name ( GPS took us to the wrong one). Luckily a friendly neighbour put us in the right path( hint: just out in the descriptions there are more buildings). Had a phone number but we had no local phones, so not able to ring( dah… people coming from overseas will sleep there)…
  Staff not speaking Romanian nor english… was an adventure to get there, but when we got there was a good accomodation…

  Room was clean and very close to the airport, we didn't have to drive much. The beds have very good mattresses and clean bed-sheets. It was very easy to check-in and check-out. Very good communication with management using WhatsApp.. If you need breakfast you will need to let them know at the time of booking.
  
  What could be improved: The air in the room was stale, as it looks the room was not used in a while. We opened the door to the balcony to get fresh air and that solved the problem.
