The parking situation alone makes this place worth considering — finding a spot in Cluj can be a nightmare, but here it’s free and right on-site. I noticed quite a few couples during my stay, and I get why they’d love it here. There’s something romantic about the quieter streets around the property, especially in the evenings when you can actually have a conversation without competing with traffic noise.

Gorgeous location. Also very convenient. Iulius Mall is within 2-3 minutes walking distance. Just beside the hotel there is Gheorgheni Lake – really nice to just walk around or admire the view. The Airport is only about 10 – 15 minutes away by car. Great, spacious and clean rooms. Air-conditioning, fridge, TV, Wi-Fi, tea, coffee & kettle are available in the rooms. Secure entry with unique codes and underground secure car park. Friendly staff and clear instructions sent right after booking. I highly recommend Residence Il Lago if you visit Cluj. Thank you!

The apartment is located next to the mall, easy to get to the city center via local transportation. View over the lake is very beautiful.

The location, about a fifteen minute bus ride on 24A bus to the main part of the city, was beside a lake and also serviced by an excellent shopping mall, about five minutes walk from apartments. Great supermarket and I even found a new battery charger for phone when mine had failed. Excellent, helpful staff changed my room on request to a higher floor to improve outlook to lake. Clean modern, good parking underneath and everything I needed for my two nights in the city. Even my favourite English Breakfast tea bags and a kettle for a cup of tea. I could not fault Il Lago. Also easy to find with large sign on apartments which helps in a foreign city. Everything perfect !

Our apartment was located next to the shopping center and little park. City center was 10 min drive by car. Apartment has underground parking included. Everything was opened by simple 4 digit codes so it was easy to share it with friends.
Room was clean, everything we needed was provided. The view from the balcony was amazing + you could see city lights while falling asleep. Apartment was spacious and equipped with safe, iron, washing machine, coffee maker and even bidet.
