But the moment you step inside and see those floor-to-ceiling windows framing Cluj-Napoca like a living postcard, you get it. The view actually makes you stop and stare, which doesn’t happen often when you’ve seen your fair share of city hotels.

This isn’t your typical hotel room — it’s more like staying in a friend’s really well-appointed flat. Strada Septimiu Albini isn’t exactly in the tourist center, but that’s actually part of what makes this place work. You’re far enough from the Old Town crowds to feel like you’re living like a local, but close enough that a fifteen-minute walk gets you to Piața Unirii. The neighborhood has that authentic Romanian feel — there’s a small grocery store around the corner, and the locals at the nearby restaurant will chat with you if your Romanian extends beyond “mulțumesc.” Plus, parking isn’t the nightmare it is closer to the center.
