First Impressions

When I first found Travellers apartment tucked away on Strada Iasomiei, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from a self-catering place in Cluj-Napoca. But walking into this four-star apartment, I immediately got why it has such incredible ratings. The space feels more like a friend’s stylish flat than typical tourist accommodation — there’s something refreshingly authentic about it that you don’t find in cookie-cutter hotels.

Location & Getting Around

The address might not mean much if you’re new to Cluj, but trust me — this spot works really well. You’re in a proper residential area where locals actually live, which means real restaurants instead of tourist traps, and grocery stores that don’t charge highway robbery prices. I could walk to the old town center in about fifteen minutes, or catch public transport easily when I didn’t feel like walking. The neighborhood has that lived-in feel that makes you understand what Cluj is actually like beyond the main squares.

The Space Itself

What struck me most was how thoughtfully everything’s set up — this isn’t just a regular room with a bed thrown in. The kitchen actually has everything you need if you want to cook (and the local markets make this tempting), plus there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase. The decor manages to be modern without feeling sterile, and honestly, the whole place just feels comfortable in a way that makes you want to stay longer than planned.

Practical Stuff That Matters

Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of apartments where something important doesn’t work or you’re constantly texting the host about basic issues. That’s not the case here — everything just functions the way it should. The WiFi actually works for video calls, the shower has proper pressure, and there’s adequate parking nearby which, if you’ve ever driven in Cluj’s old streets, you’ll appreciate. Small things, maybe, but they add up to make your stay smooth instead of stressful.

  Very nice accommodation, with all we needed, very approachable host, good communication, nice area and quiet, very easy to access. We really feel like home there, definitely will go back next time when we visit Cluj again.

  A very welcome property with kind owners. The property looks even better in reality than in the pictures. I have spent 2 days and 2 nights with my family in there and we had everything we needed in the apartment. Is a beautiful place to stay and relax with the love ones. Also is situated in a beautiful area not too far from the airport or town centre. The property also has some nice toys and my son did enjoy playing with it. We just want to give a BIG THANK YOU to the owners. We will definitely come back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  Everything was just a perfect. There is nothing that we could mark negative for this house. Everything a people need is there. Kitchen is perfect, bed is comfortable, there are plenty of space – practically all house. Bathroom is very clean and perfect. The sofa in living room is also comfortable and nice. There is a parking spot just in front of the house. Street is calm and quiet.
  
  What could be improved: The only negative thing is that the place is far away from historic centre of Kluj… about 3.0-3.5 km. The good thing is that you could catch tram from the street above. Tram number is 102 wich goes to stop: Parcul centre, where you can start to discover Kluj. Tram 102 has very often schedule timin in weekdays.
