The kitchen is where this place really shines for longer stays. It’s not just some token kitchenette with a hot plate — we’re talking full-sized appliances, decent counter space, and actually useful storage. I found myself cooking here more than I expected, partly because the local market on Piața Cipariu is just a short walk away. There’s parking available too, which in Cluj-Napoca is basically gold — trust me on this one if you’re driving.

Location Insights

Bucuresti Street puts you in this sweet spot where you can walk to the old town in about ten minutes, but you’re also close to the newer parts of the city. The Botanical Garden is practically around the corner — perfect for morning coffee walks. What I really appreciated was being near enough to the university area to catch some of that student energy, but far enough away that it doesn’t get too rowdy at night. Plus, there’s a decent restaurant called Casa Boema just down the street that locals actually go to.

  What a lovely welcome by the host! I could park just in front of the building because Cecilia managed to secure a spot for me. The apartment is very nicely decorated, you feel at home immediately, lots of light and art on the walls. It's in a round building so the architecture is unusual. Calm neighborhood, and no noise when the windows are closed.

  The property is located in a good position and the apartment is spacious and has a proper double bed. It was spotless and the bath was also very very clean. The windows of the bedroom keep out the noise and we enjoyed the fact we could check out early. The mattress and pillows were comfortable.

  Die Unterkunft war sauber, nichts war beschädigt und alles hat funktioniert (Fernseher, Wasserkocher, Wasser, Strom etc.). Trotz städtischer Lage war es sehr ruhig und kein Problem für unseren Sohn zu schlafen. Die Nachtkästen im Schlafzimmer neben dem Bett bieten genügend Platz für etwaige Maschinen wie in unserem Fall ein Beatmungs- sowie Befeuchtungsgerät und Pulsoximeter. Die städtische Lage ermöglicht es einem das Auto stehen zu lassen und zu Fuß die Gegend zu erkunden. Innerhalb von 400m befinden sich 2 Lebensmittelgeschäfte, 1 Apotheke sowie 1 gut ausgestatteter Spielplatz mit inkludiertem Outdoorgym und 1 Fußballcourt.
  
  What could be improved: Die Unterkunft ist ohne Lift, dadurch dass sich die Wohnung allerdings im 1. Stock befindet kann man darüber hinwegsehen.
  Leider ist das gesamte Wohnhaus nicht barrierefrei und das Stiegenhaus renovierungsbedürftig.
  Die Küchenzeile ist leider etwas kleingehalten, jedoch ausreichend und bis auf eine Pfanne konnten wir alles finden was wir benötigten. Allerdings konnten wir leider weder für die Badewanne noch die Spüle einen Verschluss für den Abfluss finden um wassersparend Baden oder Abwaschen zu können.
  Es gibt keinen direkt zugewiesenen Parkplatz, die sich vor dem Haus befindlichen sind vermietet und es wird bei Zuwiderhandeln abgeschleppt. Wir konnten aber um die Ecke in einer Seitenstraße parken, welchen uns die Vermieterin freundlicherweise freigehalten hatte.
