The lobby feels more like walking into a well-appointed home than a typical hotel.

Location & Getting Around

You’re about ten minutes from Cluj-Napoca’s old town center, which means you get the best of both worlds — close enough to walk to the main squares when you want that energy, but far enough out that you’re not dealing with weekend party noise. I mean, the trams run regularly if you don’t feel like walking, and there’s actually decent parking here, which anyone who’s tried to park in Romanian city centers will appreciate.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was larger than I expected, with this clever layout that made the space feel even bigger. What really got me was the attention to small details — proper blackout curtains (thank you), a desk that’s actually usable if you need to work, and a bathroom that doesn’t make you feel like you’re playing Tetris every time you turn around. The bed was firm but comfortable, and the whole space had this clean, modern aesthetic without feeling cold.

Food & Dining

The restaurant surprised me — I wasn’t expecting much, but the menu actually reflects Romanian cuisine done right, not just generic hotel food. Breakfast was solid without being overwhelming, and you know what? They had proper coffee, not that watery stuff some places try to pass off. The evening dining felt intimate, almost like eating at a friend’s place who happens to be really good at entertaining.

  What could be improved: Singurul lucru neplacut, care intr-adevar nu tine de gazda, e faptul ca e fix langa șina de tren. Trenul si avioanele pot fi putin zgomotoase, dar cazarea in sine e super nice:)
