Strada Neagră might sound dramatic (it means “Black Street”), but it’s actually one of those perfect residential streets where locals live their daily lives. You’re close enough to the old town that you can walk to Piața Unirii in about ten minutes, but far enough away that you won’t hear drunk tourists at 2 AM. The tram stops nearby, which is handy because Cluj’s public transport actually works well — something I wasn’t expecting my first time here.

Each room here is technically a suite, which means you get proper living space instead of just a bed crammed against a wall.
