The Razoare area isn’t right in Cluj-Napoca’s historic center, which means you’re getting a slice of how locals actually live rather than the tourist bubble. It’s a quieter residential zone, maybe a 10-15 minute drive to the main sights, but honestly that worked perfectly for me. There’s parking available, which anyone who’s tried to park in European city centers will appreciate. The neighborhood has that lived-in feel with small shops and cafés where you’ll hear more Romanian than English.

What struck me most was how this place bridges the gap between hotel comfort and apartment living. The apartment setup gives you way more space than you’d get in a traditional hotel room at this price point. The kitchen area is actually functional — not just a mini-fridge and microwave situation — which means you can grab groceries and make proper meals if you want. The design leans modern without being cold, with thoughtful touches that show someone actually cares about the guest experience.

Good WiFi throughout, proper lighting for reading, and enough electrical outlets where you actually need them. The bathroom setup is solid — nothing fancy, but everything works well and feels clean.   EVERYTHING. We had booked the 2-bedroom apartment. We liked the location, next door to huge shopping mall, the quietness, the view from 7th (top) floor. The medium soft mattress of the beds, sun all day on the balcony and in the room, the decor, the cleanliness, the fully stocked kitchen, the fast clear responses of the owner (via text and photos), the free parking spot. One could easily live here for a while.
  
  What could be improved: I'd only like to suggest to owner to provide a rubber math for the elderly to use the shower in a rather deep bath and to check the showerhead as it did not spray evenly. But these points were minor and did not disturb the enjoyment of the place, which was top.

  It was clean and the interior looked nice.
  
  What could be improved: It was a huge problem with the main entrance key-card in the building. It wasn't working and we could not go inside in the building. The contact guy was not friendly. He told that he knows it is a problem and the card is not working and if we are not happy we can leave to find a new place. This was at 19.30 in the night when we arrived. I was with a disabled person so I could not do this. I had to wait till someone who was living there came to the building and opened the door. When I wanted to go to buy some food, it was already late and I had to wait 30 minutes till someone came. I wasn't happy with the stay there and the way how the contact person talked with us it was really not correct and nice, you cannot send someone looking for a new location and he would send the money back. It isn't professional.
  
  The bathroom is having a smell and the shout curtain has mold.

  Good location, nice view from the balcony. At the begining the host was helpful.
  
  What could be improved: The apartment was absolutely disgraceful, disgusting, mold in the bathroom( the host did send a plumber to fix this in the bathroom because you couldn’t take a shower there). Dust everywhere, on the balcony is full of rubbish. Some of the door handles are falling off, dirty kitchenware. Uncomfortable bed. The aircon didn’t work, I’ve have to get batteries and pay for them, same with the broken key.
  This apartment is in a desperate need for a deep deep cleaning and a freshening up. It’s not fair on the customers.
  There is no excuse for the lack of clean.
