You’re on one of the main boulevards, which means getting around is straightforward, but you’re far enough from the tourist crowds to feel like you’re experiencing the real city. There’s decent parking nearby (always a concern in Cluj), and I found myself walking to most places I wanted to visit. The neighborhood has that lived-in feel where locals grab coffee at corner shops and students hurry past with backpacks.

The Apartment Experience

This four-star spot operates more like a boutique apartment rental, and that’s where it really shines. The room I stayed in felt genuinely homey — not in a budget way, but in that “your stylish friend’s place” way. The kitchenette was actually functional (rare for hotel setups), with real dishes and everything you’d need to make breakfast or heat up leftovers from one of Cluj’s amazing restaurants.

What Sets It Apart

You know what struck me most? The attention to details that matter when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days. Good lighting for reading, enough outlets where you need them, and — this sounds small but isn’t — really comfortable seating that isn’t just a desk chair. The whole space felt thoughtfully designed by someone who travels themselves and knows what’s annoying about most hotel rooms.

  Excellent location in old town with nice views of the old town skyline. Very chic apartment with strong personality. Very clean and some of the nicest beds I ever slept in!
  
  What could be improved: Parking is impossible to find in the area and very hard to find in the central area of the city in general. Understandably since when the old town was built cars did not exist. We parked about 20 minutes away and took an Uber back and forth. Apartment is on the third floor and there is no elevator, it was a good exercise for us going up and down the stairs for 2 days but it could be a problem if you have mobility issues.
