Bruno Apartments Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Bruno Apartments on Strada Giordano Bruno, you immediately get the sense that this place knows what it’s doing. The building has that solid, well-maintained feel that tells you someone actually cares about the details — not flashy, but definitely polished. I mean, when you see a four-star property tucked into one of Cluj-Napoca’s quieter residential streets, you’re either getting something really special or really disappointing. This one’s definitely the former.
The Neighborhood Advantage
Here’s what I love about the location — you’re close enough to everything that matters, but far enough from the tourist chaos to actually get some sleep. Strada Giordano Bruno sits in this sweet spot where locals actually live, so you’ll find proper grocery stores and cafes that aren’t charging tourist prices. The couples who stay here consistently rate the location around 8.9, and honestly, I get it. You can walk to the old town center in about 15 minutes, but when you come home at night, it’s quiet and residential. Plus, there’s decent parking in the area, which anyone who’s driven in Cluj will tell you is basically a miracle.
The Apartment Experience
Each apartment feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a hotel — assuming your friend has excellent taste and keeps everything spotless. The spaces are thoughtfully laid out, with enough room to actually unpack and settle in for a few days. What really impressed me was the attention to practical details: proper lighting for reading, enough outlets where you actually need them, and a kitchen that’s equipped well enough to cook real meals if you want to. The furnishings strike that perfect balance between comfortable and stylish without trying too hard.
Daily Life Here
The staff operates more like helpful neighbors than hotel employees — they’re around when you need them but never hovering. You know what really sold me on this place? The little things that show they understand how people actually travel. There’s a proper coffee setup (not just those terrible pod machines), decent Wi-Fi that actually works throughout the space, and enough storage that you’re not living out of a suitcase. The housekeeping is thorough without being intrusive, and they seem to genuinely care about maintaining the quality rather than just going through the motions.
Why Guests Love It
With a 9.1 rating, Bruno Apartments has clearly figured out what travelers actually want — and it’s not complicated amenities or over-the-top service. It’s about creating a space where you can live normally for a few days while exploring Cluj-Napoca. The combination of that excellent location, well-designed apartments, and genuinely helpful staff creates this rare thing: a place that feels both professional and personal. Whether you’re here for business or exploring the city, you’ll find yourself recommending this place to other travelers. It’s one of those properties that just works, without any drama or disappointments.
Cluj-Napoca hotels keep guests near Central Park, Cluj Arena matches, and chic cafes on Napoca Street.

Reviews of Bruno Apartments
Exceptional – Nemes from Romania – January 14, 2025 (10/10)
I recommend this place. The apartment is very comfortable and clean. The owner is exceptionally kind, polite, and helpful, ensuring our stay went smoothly with his assistance. The only thing to consider is that the apartment faces a busy road, which could be an issue if you are very sensitive to noice. However, the owner has thoughtfully provided earplugs in the apartment – a considerate gesture that shows attention to guests' comfort.
Clean, cosy but an air conditioning is a MUST in the upper room. – Albu from Romania – July 23, 2024 (9/10)
The room was very cosy, very clean, friendly people
What could be improved: In the summer time it really needs an air conditioner. The heat was so unconfortable, we could bearly sleep. It felt like a sauna in this room.Wonderful – Sui from Hong Kong – July 16, 2024 (9/10)
Super clean and comfortable
Very spacious
What could be improved: It would be perfect if there was a washing machineIt was amazing! – Dávid from Slovakia – May 26, 2024 (10/10)
It was very clean, the owner was very friendly, the WiFi was blazing fast. We couldn’t even choose a better apartment.
The owner was nice. If we come to Cluj again we are gonna rent this apartment again. – Viktória from Slovakia – May 26, 2024 (10/10)

Really cozy apartment. It’s also quite close to the town centre – 10 min by car.
What could be improved: It’s on a boulevard so it’s noisy all day. It gets better only after midnight. It’s very comfortable to stay in! I like that I have my own peace and quiet! – Elizabeth from Ireland – April 3, 2024 (8/10)
I liked the space, the cleanliness, the pleasant smells! I loved that it’s close to the pharmacy!
What could be improved: The small ceilings! I’m quite a tall person so I’ve hit my head a couple times but that’s the only thing! Other than that everything was perfect!Exceptional – Saveikis from Denmark – August 17, 2023 (10/10)
The host was super nice and friendly, welcomed us 4hrs before our check in as the room was available!
The cleanliness was perfect and the location is super nice! Could have not asked for more!Wonderful – Beat from Thailand – August 11, 2023 (9/10)
It is a spacious, modern and quite luxurious studio apartment with a well equipped kitchen, a very comfortable bed and many other stylish and practical pieces of furniture. The owner Dorin is very friendly and helpful. The rental price is very affordable and really good value for money. I will definitely try to stay there again whenever I go back to Cluj.
What could be improved: I experienced the WiFi connection in room #2 where I stayed as weak, with frequent interruptions. Its router is in apartment #1 which is very close to #2 but both apartments have thick doors that let the WiFi signal hardly go through. Therefore I connected to the WiFi by leaving the door of apartment #2 wide open and sitting just in front of it. Installing a WiFi repeater in the corridor would probably solve this problem which is the only reason why I am giving only a 9-star review instead of 10.Lovely comfortable place when not hot. – Graham from United Kingdom – July 8, 2023 (9/10)
It was really well made
What could be improved: It could really benefit with an air conditioner or a fan, there’re many windows but unless you pull the curtains shut, the sun beams in in the morning, too hot to stay in the room. The WiFi is also very weak in this room.
