Here’s what I love about Strada Bolyai János — it’s close enough to the historic center that you can walk to Unirii Square in about eight minutes, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with weekend party noise. You’re basically surrounded by cafés and local spots that most tourists miss completely. The four-star property puts you within easy reach of the Botanical Garden, and if you’re into the nightlife scene, the student quarter is just around the corner.

The Room Experience

My room was on the fourth floor with these huge windows that let in incredible natural light — something you don’t always get in European city hotels. The design leans modern with warm wood accents, and everything actually works (you’d be surprised how often that’s not the case). The bed was properly comfortable, and the bathroom had one of those rainfall showers that makes you want to stay in there way too long.

Dining & Amenities

There’s no on-site restaurant, which initially worried me, but it turned out to be a non-issue. The breakfast setup is more like a continental spread in their dining area — fresh pastries, local cheeses, and decent coffee that doesn’t taste like it’s been sitting around all morning. What really impressed me was their 24-hour front desk service; these folks know the neighborhood inside and out and can point you toward the best local eats.

Look, Central Luxury 2 isn’t trying to be the flashiest place in Cluj-Napoca, and that’s precisely why it works so well. With a 9.3 rating, guests clearly appreciate the attention to detail — from the reliable Wi-Fi to the surprisingly quiet nights despite being in the city center. The parking situation is handled through a nearby garage (they’ll sort out the details), which saves you from driving circles around the old town looking for a spot. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re staying somewhere locals would actually recommend, not just another tourist trap.

  Apartamentul este în centrul Clujului, este curat și bine întreținut. În apartament găsiți toate facilitățile pentru a va pregăti mesele, găsiți și masina de spălat rufe, fier călcat, uscător par etc. Gazda este foarte amabila. Canapeaua a fost confortabila pentru fetita noastră de 11 ani.
