But this four-star boutique property surprised me in the best way possible. The building has this charming old-world character that fits perfectly with Cluj-Napoca’s historic vibe, and you immediately get the sense that someone put real thought into creating something special here.

Location & Getting Around

The location is actually pretty brilliant if you want to experience Cluj without being right in the tourist chaos. Bulevardul Eroilor puts you close enough to walk to the old town center in about 15 minutes, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with late-night crowds outside your window. There’s decent parking nearby, which — trust me — matters a lot in this city where finding a spot can be a real headache. The surrounding area has that authentic Romanian neighborhood feel, with local cafes and shops that most visitors never discover.

The Accommodation

The room itself feels more like a well-designed urban retreat than your typical hotel space. I mean, the “love story” theme could’ve easily gone cheesy, but they kept it elegant and understated. The furnishings have this nice mix of modern comfort and classic touches that work well together. You’ve got everything you need without feeling cluttered, and the attention to detail — like the quality linens and thoughtful lighting — shows they’re serious about the guest experience.

Dining & Amenities

While there isn’t a full-service restaurant on-site, they’ve got partnerships with some excellent local spots that’ll deliver, and honestly, that works out better anyway. You get to try authentic Cluj cuisine without being stuck with just hotel food. The common areas are comfortable for relaxing with a coffee or planning your next day’s adventures. What really impressed me was how responsive the staff is — they seem to genuinely know the city and can point you toward the kind of experiences you’re actually looking for, not just the obvious tourist spots.

  What a beautiful place! One of the nicest places I’ve been, fantastic hosts, gorgeous antique decoration, a massage chair that made me feel rejuvenated, big comfortable bed. I was just sad for staying one night only, I’d love to come back one day!
  
  What could be improved: Nothing major and everything was clear upfront, but I’d just point out that the parking is whether on the street (paid but cheap) on in an inner year a few minutes away. Depending on the time, there might be other cars behind you so you’d need people to move them to leave. People were mostly friendly about it so it was no issue but it’s worth keeping it mind, if you need to leave quick, leave it on the street

  Very unique and beautiful style, lots of attention to detail. Even better than the photos.Shady and cool even during the hot summer, and the beds are very comfortable. Many amenities. Very central and easily accessible.
  The host was warm and accommodating, he made sure that we have everything we need for our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a more forthcoming and nice host.
  We loved it here and would come back anytime!

  And absolutely stunning apartment that offers an aristocratic experience,with 3 king size beds, excellent location,very comfy,warm, two restrooms,shower running smoothly, plenty of toiletries,hairdryer,slippers,towels and gowns spotless clean . We were welcomed with wine and fresh fruit on the house,previously asked for our preference. Teas, coffee,honey,still water in the fridge,microwave.
  We enjoyed every bit of the massage chair,it’s definitely a plus plus.
  The proprietor is an adorable person,big thank you to the most polite and cordial person I ever met,made us feel special and very welcomed . We asked for late check out and had no problem with that
  as there was no guests coming in that day.
  
  What could be improved: We tried the jacuzzi but it didn’t work for us ,maybe just didn’t know how to use it. We were offered assistance with anything at all but
  we didn’t bother asking for help cause it was late that day and it didn’t really matter,the overall experience was awesome.

  An exceptional accommodation that you must experience at least once. After our tour through Romania and visiting Peles Castle and others, we wanted to feel like royalty for a day, and this was the place. A unique and curious experience. The hosts were very kind.

  We really loved the uniqueness of the place itself, it was beautiful and very comfortable! In terms of the service it was above and beyond what we could have expected. Receiving us so late (3.30am) and then allowing us to check out late Sunday really made the trip so much more enjoyable and less stressful – so from me the whole experience was 10/10. The bottle of Prosecco was the cherry on the top.

  There was nothing to dislike, if you love all things gothic aesthetic and a vampire feel, stay here you won't regret it.
  The host is amazing and goes out of his way to accommodate your needs and left lots of little extras to make our stay more comfortable,, the beds were super comfy, the whole place was beautifully clean, we mooched around like 17th century nobility.
  The massage chair was a added bonus and got some use after a long day. We felt very safe as there is a security door, a second door to the balcony and a lockable gate before the apartment, checkin and out was seamless.
  
  What could be improved: There was a couple of issues but they were due to the age of the building and us being a little dim.
  Spa bath wasn't working which was a shame but didn't impact our stay, we blew the electrics, but that plunge into darkness just made the spooky feel a bit better lol.
  Will definitely stay again.

  The host welcomed us with bubbles on ice, the place had a massage chair and a hot tub, we had a safe parking spot within 3 min walk from location.
