Location & Getting Around

Here’s what I love about the location — you’re right in the thick of things but not drowning in tourist crowds. Bulevardul Eroilor puts you within walking distance of the old town’s cobblestone streets, but you can also easily escape to the quieter residential areas when you need a breather. The tram stops are close by, which locals will tell you is the best way to get around Cluj anyway. Plus, there’s decent parking nearby, though honestly, you might not need your car much once you settle in.

The Details That Matter

You know what impressed me most? The little things that show they’ve thought about what travelers actually need. The Wi-Fi is fast enough for video calls (I tested it), the shower has proper water pressure, and the bed is comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling with it all night. The restaurant recommendations they provide are spot-on too — clearly someone who knows the city put that list together, not just whoever handles the website.

  Style of building from outside, then after you pass entry doors, proceed with stairways with old and not working elevator, continue with porch beneath courtyard and finally finished with your appartament. My rating is for these aspects, not "measuring" and practical aspects. But to be fair, I must take 1 point down.
  
  What could be improved: Accomodation is very specific. Practically it is not practical. 🙂 Bath in one of two rooms (with jacuzzi, but you can not plug it…), walking space in the 1st room near "zero", no kitchen, strange toilette in the shared hallway (with another appartament – our was right one) with trully small bowl and only cold water. But experience is so strong. This place breathe on you with style and maybe also fear (when you realize you are in formal capital city of Transylvania). For 1 night in Cluj, you must visit it! In 2 will be better (we were 4, also for 3 not suitable). The only really disappointment was free private parking. 380 m away (2 streets) and space for parking… Check photo. I can imagine more than 50 % guests will be not able to park here (with bigger cars with not low turning diameter).

  Locatia este minunata, apartament situat in centrul orasului, foarte aproape de piata unirii, de opera si de cafenele, patiserii.
  Patul si salteaua sunt deasemenea minunate.
  
  What could be improved: Dupa cum spuneau si celelalte reviewuri- este un minimuzeu in care cand te pui in pat vin toate pe tine… tapet inchis la coloare, pat cu baldachin intr-o camera mica de iti ia tot suflul, mobila de lemn masiv langa un pat masiv .. si iti mai ramane spatiu sa faci mici pasi in camera. Complet nepractic pentru 3 persoane. Cea mai mare problema a fost baia.. cada este deparata de wc. Cada este intr-una din camere iar wc-ul este extern apartamentului.. practic este in holul de intrare in apartament. Camera este extrem de mica de nu ai loc sa te speli pe dinti. Apartamentul este frumos de vizitat- un minimuzeu.. dar de stat acolo mai mult de 1 noapte nu recomand. Ferestrele apartamentului sunt mici- una da intr-o curte interioară iar in cealaltă nu intra soarele. Intra si mult aer rece pe sub usile vechi si desi era august,ne-a fost frig. Nu mai vorbim de intimitate cand mergi la Wc- ne-am intalnit de cateva ori cu vecinii de hol- caci din acelasi hol se face intrarea in alta camera inchiriata. Nu mai vorbim ca am asteptat schimbarea incuietorii insa dupa aceea cheia nu functiona – asa ca la recomandarea proprietarului am lasat-o deschisa ca sa aflam apoi ca acea camera comuna cu holul era ocupata deci oricine putea intra peste bunurile noastre. Atentie pozele facute sunt cu o oglida incat apartamentul sa para mai mare. Se poate scoate mobila din apartament si facut mai simplu, poti simti ca suflii si ca te poti misca.
