Walking into Eden Central Boutique Suites feels like discovering someone’s incredibly stylish apartment that they’ve decided to share with the world. It’s tucked away on Strada Constanța, which honestly took me a minute to find — but that’s part of its charm. This four-star boutique property doesn’t scream for attention from the street, but once you’re inside, you get why it has a 9.8 rating.

Location & Getting Around

The location in Cluj-Napoca is actually perfect if you want to feel like a local rather than a tourist. You’re close enough to the old town that you can walk there in about 10 minutes, but far enough away that you escape the weekend crowds. I found some great coffee shops just around the corner, and there’s this little grocery store two blocks down that saved me multiple times when I needed snacks or forgot to pack something.

The Suites

Each room here is more like a mini-apartment, which explains the “suites” part of the name. The one I stayed in had this gorgeous kitchenette that actually worked — I mean, sometimes hotel kitchens are just for show, you know? The design feels contemporary but warm, with these interesting art pieces that look like they were chosen by someone who actually cares about art, not just filling wall space.

Neighborhood Life

What I loved most was how the hotel sits in this residential area where you see actual Cluj life happening. In the mornings, I’d watch locals heading to work while I had my coffee on the small balcony. There’s a restaurant about three streets over — Baracca, I think it was called — that serves incredible Romanian food, and the hotel staff actually recommended it (instead of just pointing you toward tourist traps). The whole area has this lived-in feeling that makes you want to stay longer.

Why Guests Love It

Honestly, it’s the attention to detail that sets Eden Central apart from other boutique places I’ve tried. The staff remembers your name, the WiFi actually works everywhere, and they stock the kitchenette with quality basics so you don’t have to hunt for decent coffee or olive oil. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re staying somewhere special without paying five-star prices. Plus, having that extra space to spread out after a day of exploring Cluj makes such a difference — you realize how cramped regular hotel rooms can feel.

  The apartment is situated close to downtown Cluj, and it's absolutely gorgeous. I was so happy to have found it!
  If you ever want to explore that side of Romania, this is the place to stay. We've had a family holiday and spent the last 3 days in Cluj. Couldn't have asked for more. Clean, bright, luxurious, with everything one would need for a perfect holiday.

  Host was very pleasant and the value was good. Location was convenient, paid street parking was available (paid on street, because the app doesn't work in Cluj).
  
  What could be improved: I was hoping to find a washing machine and a dryer. For some reason there were 2 washing machines. However there is detergent and everything you need.

  I am generally strict and where others give high ratings excited by the fact that they are taking a trip and not focusing on their stay, I give a lower rating because I separate one from the other and trying to help others. Here we have excellent 👍. A sweet woman open the door before check-in . Ask if we want a coffee or water. Arranged for us the apartment. The apartment it was clean of high aesthetics and decoration with an excellent mattress and appliances that will satisfy even the most demanding.

  Perfect place for a city trip. 15 min from the center ( Meron Central) very clean, the bed is a 10/10 all the utilities you need in the room! Def my come back from now on everytime im in cluj!

  The apartament is really nice and modern, and well located, close to the city center.
