What I love about the location is how it puts you right in the sweet spot of Cluj-Napoca. You’re close enough to the city center that you can walk to the main sights — I mean, the old town is maybe 15 minutes on foot — but you’re on a quieter street that actually lets you sleep at night. The Decebal area has this nice residential feel with enough cafes and shops nearby that you don’t feel disconnected from local life.

My room was bigger than I expected, honestly. The furniture feels solid rather than that cheap hotel stuff you sometimes get, and there’s enough space to actually unpack your suitcase properly. The bathroom was clean and functional — nothing fancy, but the water pressure was good and everything worked the way it should. You know what I appreciated? The windows actually open, which sounds basic but isn’t always guaranteed these days.

Food and Practical Matters

The hotel restaurant serves decent Romanian dishes alongside international options, and the staff there seems to know their stuff about local wines. Breakfast covers the basics well enough — fresh bread, local cheeses, and coffee that’s actually drinkable. There’s parking available too, which anyone who’s tried to park in Cluj-Napoca’s center will tell you is worth its weight in gold.

  We've liked everything!! Can't fault the place, excellent communication, the place is spotless and full of flowers, such a pleasure to have your morning coffee in the inside court.
  Room was big, bed so comfy that I will hate my own bed when I'll get home!
  The attention to detail is appreciated, everything presented with taste and purpose.
  There is even a coffee place and bar inside the court.
  About 10 min away from the old town.
  Extremely happy with the place, we would defo recommend it!

  The location was perfect, it was quiet, and the value for money was great. My kids were very happy, my wife and I appreciated the huge two-level room, as we were overseeing the children, which in other properties would have to be two rooms, as the size and layout of the room here is very hard to find. Amazing. We only stayed for a night, but we had a great time and we will definitely be back in the future.#

  – Room looked really nice. Quite spacious and nicely decorated.
  – Breakfast room was very pleasant. There were sufficient breakfast choices and arranged with very nice taste by the staff.
  – The staff consisted in very nice, young people.
  – Location is great, very close to the city center, and with sufficient parking choices on the street.

  What could be improved: – Hotel's own parking was in a inner court of the hotel. It was quite difficult to get in and get out, and not to mention, finding an empty place.

  We had a great stay as a group of four friends – just a 15-minute walk to the entrance of Untold Festival!
  
  We were lucky to find a parking spot right in front of the entrance, which was super convenient. Breakfast was nice, and the beds were really comfortable.
  
  We also appreciated having a kettle and complimentary tea and coffee on the first day.
  
  What could be improved: Towels and sheets weren’t changed during our 5-night stay. Since the reception isn’t always open, we didn’t get a chance to ask for fresh towels, but you can probably call them to request it.
  
  Also, the online check-in site was a bit tricky. We didn’t receive the room number or any instructions there, but it was quickly sorted out once we called the hotel.
