The room I stayed in was larger than I expected — Romanian hotels sometimes surprise you that way. What struck me most was how they’ve managed to blend modern amenities with touches that feel authentically local, without going overboard on the folk art. The bathroom was spotless, and you know what? The shower pressure was actually impressive, which isn’t always a given in this part of Europe.

Dining & Atmosphere

The hotel restaurant serves a solid mix of Romanian classics and international dishes, though I’d recommend venturing out for dinner — Cluj’s food scene is too good to miss. Breakfast, however, was quite decent with local cheeses and fresh bread that reminded me why Romanian bakeries are something special. The staff here genuinely seem to care about your experience, not just going through the motions.
