I mean, you’re not exactly walking distance to the main square, but the public transport connections are solid, and taxi rides downtown won’t break the bank.

The Room Experience

My room was clean and functional — exactly what you’d expect from a well-run neighborhood hotel. The bed was comfortable enough (I slept well), and the bathroom, while compact, had decent water pressure. What surprised me was how quiet it was at night, considering you’re on a main road. The windows do their job, and the air conditioning actually works properly, which isn’t always a given in Romanian hotels, you know?

Practical Matters

The staff speaks English well enough to handle any questions, and they’re genuinely helpful with directions and recommendations. Parking is available, which is honestly a relief in Cluj — finding a spot in this city can be a nightmare during busy periods. There’s a small restaurant on-site that serves decent Romanian basics, though I’d recommend exploring the neighborhood for dinner since there are some great local spots within walking distance.

  Really nice staff, the hotel looks very good on the inside from an architectural point of view. Spacious rooms, clean bathroom, hot water almost instantly.
  
  Breakfast was really good. Lots of types of eggs, ham, cheese, jam, sausages. All the food was 10/10.
  
  About the location: 5 minutes away from a shopping center. You also have a really big Kaufland 2 minutes away (behind the hotel), and a gas station right next to the hotel. You are a 10 minute walk from the center if I'm not mistaken, max 15 min walk from BT arena. You also have a good kebab down the street, near the shopping center.
  
  What could be improved: Only complaint is that at the breakfast the orange juice was quite watery (the taste was a bit faded). Also sometimes they didn't restock omlette or bacon, but I am sure they would have if you asked them to.

  The location is great, next to a gas station and close to the center. Breakfast is good, the room is spacious and the air conditioning works well. The bathroom is large. The staff is polite and helps you out. For the price, it is excellent. Would go here again and really recommend to others.
