Here’s the thing about staying on Calea Mănăștur — you’re perfectly positioned without being stuck in the tourist chaos of Cluj-Napoca‘s old center. I mean, you can easily reach the heart of the city, but you’re also close to Mănăștur neighborhood, which gives you a more authentic taste of how locals actually live. The Iulius Mall is practically around the corner if you need anything, and there are some fantastic traditional Romanian spots nearby that most visitors never discover.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was — well, let’s just say they understand luxury here. Everything from the linens to the bathroom fixtures feels premium, but it’s the thoughtful details that really impressed me. The lighting actually works for both relaxing and getting ready, the bed is ridiculously comfortable, and there’s proper storage space (you’d be surprised how many five-stars mess this up). The views vary depending on which side you’re on, but honestly, the interior design is so well-done you might not even notice.

The hotel’s restaurant serves both international cuisine and Romanian specialties — I’d definitely recommend trying their take on traditional dishes because they elevate them without losing the authentic flavors.   Great hotel close to the city center. The hotel is located in the same building as the shopping mall, so all in one place :). The breakfast was good, and we were satisfied. Great location, good parking option in the garage, walking distance to the downtown (15 min). All was great!

  A newly opened hotel boasting modern design, upscale amenities, and a thoughtfully furnished suite. The suite was spacious and well-appointed, making it very convenient for those who need to work during their stay. Both restaurants are located just outside the hotel in the adjoining shopping center, and breakfast is served in one of them. The morning spread is varied and delicious. The lunch and dinner menus are diverse and exceptionally flavorful. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel.
  
  What could be improved: For a five-star hotel, it's rather disappointing not to be able to stop directly in front of the entrance when arriving by car. Guests must park in a shared underground parking lot (which also serves the adjacent shopping center), which makes unloading luggage difficult. For easier access, I recommend parking near Zone A in the parking lot, closest to the hotel entrance on the lower level.
  
  There is no luggage assistance or valet parking upon arrival, services generally expected at a five-star hotel.
  
  Furthermore, I discovered a sock left by a previous guest near the bed. I had intentionally left there in the hopes that it would be removed during the next housekeeping visit, so perhaps more attention to detail was required from the housekeeping staff.
