The walk to the city center takes maybe 15 minutes, but honestly, I found myself taking longer routes just to explore the tree-lined streets in this neighborhood. It’s got that authentic Romanian charm without being too far from the action.

The staff here gets it — they’re helpful without being hovering, if that makes sense. When I mentioned I was interested in trying some local wines, the owner (I think?) actually drew me a little map to his favorite wine bar in the old town. The apartment came with all those little touches that show someone was actually thinking about what travelers need: good WiFi, blackout curtains that actually work, and a shower with proper water pressure. Parking was straightforward too, which anyone who’s driven in Cluj-Napoca will appreciate.
