I’ll be honest, the name sounds more like a corporate office building than a place you’d want to stay, but once you’re up on those higher floors, the views over Cluj-Napoca are something else. This four-star property sits right on Calea Florești, which means you’re basically in the thick of things without dealing with the old town crowds.

The Room Experience

My room on the 13th floor felt more like a well-designed apartment than your typical hotel setup. The floor-to-ceiling windows frame the city perfectly — you know what really got me? Watching the sunrise hit the Transylvanian hills in the distance while having my morning coffee. The kitchenette is actually functional too, not just for show, which is rare in places like this. Everything’s modern and clean, but they’ve managed to avoid that sterile chain hotel feel somehow.

Location Perks

Here’s what I discovered about staying on Calea Florești — you’re about a 15-minute walk from the main square, but you’re also right next to some of Cluj’s newer developments. There’s this great little bakery called Panemar just down the street that locals actually go to, not just tourists. The tram stops practically outside your door, and honestly, getting around the city couldn’t be easier from here.

Practical Details

Parking was way easier than I expected for this part of the city — they’ve got dedicated spots that you don’t have to fight other guests for. The building itself is secure, which matters when you’re staying in what’s essentially a residential tower. I mean, you’re sharing the building with actual residents, but that just adds to the authentic feel of staying here rather than in some tourist bubble.

Why Guests Love It

What really sets this place apart is how it manages to feel like you’re living in Cluj rather than just visiting. The staff actually knows the neighborhood — they sent me to this incredible restaurant called Baracca that I never would’ve found on my own. With a 9.7 rating, they’re clearly doing something right, and after staying here, I get it. It’s not trying to be flashy or impress you with unnecessary amenities, but everything works exactly as it should, and those views… well, they don’t hurt either.

  The sink in the kitchen is clogged, which was annoying.
  
  What could be improved: The apartment building halls are very dirty and there are no signa how to get to the right apartment. You have to guess by openning 3 doors until you find the correct way.
  You have to call the owner every time you want to leave or enter the property as he has to open the gate. This is the worst part of this stay.
