You know what’s great? There are local bakeries and small shops within walking distance where you can grab breakfast or snacks without paying hotel prices.

The room I stayed in was clean and functional — think modern furniture with a slightly Eastern European aesthetic that somehow works. The bed was comfortable enough, and the bathroom, while compact, had good water pressure (trust me, this matters after a day of walking around Cluj’s cobblestone streets). The Wi-Fi was reliable, which is more than I can say for some fancier places I’ve stayed in Romania.

The staff here speaks decent English and they’re genuinely helpful with local recommendations — not just the usual tourist traps either. There’s a small restaurant on-site that serves traditional Romanian dishes alongside international options, though I’d honestly recommend venturing out to explore the local food scene.   Also they added some packed stuff which was good to consume but my expectations were some OG Romanian stuff.

  Great central location and the room was spotless clean! Mine was on the top floor and ot was really cosy. I could check in late (1am) and leave my luggage past check out time.

  Great location, good, practical room with a fantastic shower. Really helpful staff and a nice breakfast, which we could take earlier the morning we left. The location is as good as it gets, with a 20-30 minute walk to the main station.
  
  What could be improved: Room small, but ok. One thing we missed was fresh bread rolls for breakfast, but that was made up by a toaster.
