When I first pulled up to this four-star property, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect — the name doesn’t give much away, and the building has this understated elegance that’s more sophisticated than flashy. But that 9.8 rating? Yeah, it starts making sense the moment you step inside.

The Neighborhood Feel

Strada Bucium is one of those streets where locals actually live, not just where hotels plop down for convenience. You’ve got small cafes where the barista remembers your order, and there’s this genuine Romanian neighborhood vibe that most visitors never experience. I mean, you’re still close enough to walk to the main square, but you get to retreat to this peaceful residential pocket at the end of the day. The tram stops nearby, so getting around is actually pretty straightforward.

What Makes It Special

Here’s what caught me off guard — this place feels more like staying in a really well-designed apartment than a traditional hotel. Each unit has its own character, and they’ve clearly put thought into making spaces that feel livable, not just functional. The attention to detail is impressive without being over-the-top, and you can tell they’ve anticipated what travelers actually need (good Wi-Fi, proper lighting, places to actually spread out your stuff).

The Experience

The staff here genuinely seem to care about Cluj-Napoca and want you to experience it properly. They’ll point you toward the good restaurant that’s tucked away where tourists don’t usually find it, or suggest the best time to visit the Botanical Garden when it’s not packed. Your room becomes this comfortable base where you can decompress between exploring, and honestly, I found myself spending more time there than I usually do in hotels — not because there’s nothing to do outside, but because the space is just that pleasant.

Why Guests Love It

Look, Cluj-Napoca isn’t Bucharest or Brasov in terms of tourist infrastructure, but that’s part of its charm. Ozone Home gets this balance right — they provide the comfort and reliability you want from a well-run property, but they don’t isolate you from the authentic Romanian experience. The 9.8 rating reflects something you notice after a day or two: everything just works smoothly, the location grows on you as you discover the neighborhood, and you start to feel like you’re experiencing Cluj-Napoca the way people who live there do.   Spacious rooms, clean apartment, everything you need there for a longer stay. Quality furniture, mattresses, superb coach in the living, TV, 2 bedrooms separated by doors, one of which had a huge dressing, washing machine in the bathroom, coffee maker in the kitchen and anything you need there. One of the best apartments we stayed in. Parking spot in the front of the building (the owner will tell you how to get there). Easy to get there. Close to the city transport if you don't come by car.
  
  What could be improved: Some smell coming from the neighbours, but is not the owner's fault. Just open the window from your kitchen and the smell will go away.

  I am happy to say my stay at Ozone home far exceeded my expectations. Upon arrival, we met our host Marian, who upon learning that I was a football fan, provided us with two tickets to watch the local 1st division team play. A wonderful experience, free of charge.
  
  The apartment itself was beyond comfortable, clean, modern and spacious. It was stocked with all kitchen amenities and appliances needed, be it a oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, blender or anything else that comes to mind. The fridge, TV, and washing machine were all high-end, smart tech that elevated the experience. One of the bedrooms had a desk that was perfect for working while on vacation. There was plenty of closet space equipped with tools needed to do laundry, be it a steamer, iron, clothing rack, or whatever else you may need. The main bedroom was big with a huge, comfortable bed.
  
  The balcony is a wonderful addition that overlooks a picturesque courtyard, ensuring a very serene experience for anyone who likes to enjoy their morning coffee outside. Moreover, the attention to detail made the stay pleasantly easy. Toiletries were stocked, and I did not find the need to buy any more. A variety of coffee capsules and basic kitchen ingredients could be found; something I appreciated that helped cut costs down on vacation. The décor, furniture and lighting were all thought out which made it feel like a home rather than a rental, and having seen other apartments in the area, I was surprised how spacious it was.
  
  The neighborhood is lovely and safe. There is a grocery store and a tram/bus stop just a few minute walk away.

  This property is wonderful. It’s a large 2nd floor flat in a quiet location with excellent privacy, windows looking out to trees allowing for tranquility. The property is pristine clean, good furnishing, comfortable beds and sofa bed. Lovely soft furnishings, including carpets, neat and tidy flat with top cleanliness and very easy to maintain if staying longer as it has all the equipment necessary to do so. Great attention to detail by the owners, providing high quality starter kits in bathroom and kitchen (shower gels, soaps, washing liquids, slippers, coffee, tea, water, etc.) with very good appliances throughout. It combines the feeling of home with luxury very nicely. A real pleasure to stay and most importantly, wonderful owners, who are very friendly, knowledgeable and ready to go the extra mile for anything immediately if there is an issue. The property comes with private parking space as well, which is handy and very fast Wi-Fi important for work. Large smart TV allows for good entertainment on a downtime. Property close to public transport and shops, all easy to get to.
  
  What could be improved: Parking space often used by others, but owner notified and will be rectifying with a sign. No problems arose however as a result, because there is a second space available and possibility to park on sides too. Overall not a major problem. Cannot fault the property.

  Per total, un apartament frumos amenajat. Nu lipsește mai nimic. Priveliștea de la balcon e superbă. Nu pare că ești in oraș. Seamănă cu o pădurice și e liniștitor si relaxant.
  
  What could be improved: Nu știu dacă se extindea canapeaua. Eu am incercat dar nu am insistat. A fost puțin inconfortabil pe ea pentru că eu sunt destul de înaltă. Însă e destul de moale, deci ăsta a fost singurul aspect negativ. Mie personal îmi place un spatiu un pic mai simplu vizual și aici eram multe ornamente. Însă în dormitor era totul alb și simplu.

  Apartamentul este intr-o zona linistita , aproape de magazine ( un Profi la 100m de locatie ) si cam la 2km de mall-ul Vivo .
