When I first walked into Panoramic Apartment with Terrace, honestly, the name says it all — but you don’t really get it until you step out onto that terrace. This three-star place sits right on Strada Anton Pann, and I mean, the views over Cluj-Napoca are something else. It’s one of those spots where you immediately understand why couples rate it so highly — there’s just something romantic about having the whole city spread out below you while you’re sipping your morning coffee.

The apartment feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a typical hotel room. You’ve got a proper kitchen setup, which honestly saved me a fortune since Cluj’s restaurant scene, while fantastic, can add up quickly. The living area flows naturally onto that terrace I mentioned — and trust me, you’ll spend way more time out there than you think. The whole place has this lived-in comfort that makes you want to extend your stay.
Location Perks
Here’s what I love about the location — you’re close enough to walk into the old town, but far enough up the hill that you escape the weekend crowds. The walk down to Piața Unirii takes maybe fifteen minutes, and it’s actually pleasant since you’re going downhill. Coming back up is a bit of a workout, I’ll admit, but that terrace reward makes it worth it. There’s decent parking in the area too, which anyone who’s driven in Cluj will appreciate.
What Makes It Special
You know what really struck me? The attention to small details that matter when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days. The wifi works properly (crucial for remote work), the shower has good pressure, and there are enough power outlets where you actually need them. The terrace furniture isn’t just thrown together either — someone clearly thought about how people would actually use the space.
