When I first pulled up to Panoramic Sunset View Apartment in the Studium Green complex, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect from this four-star property. The building itself — C3, if you’re looking for it — sits in this modern development on Strada Frunzișului that’s honestly become one of Cluj-Napoca‘s more interesting residential areas. You know what struck me immediately? The name isn’t just marketing fluff; you really can see why they called it that once you get up there.

The Space

This apartment setup works brilliantly for anyone who wants more than just a hotel room. I mean, having a proper kitchen changes everything when you’re staying somewhere for more than a night or two. The layout feels thoughtful — not cramped like some apartment-style accommodations I’ve tried. The living area flows naturally into the dining space, and honestly, the whole place just feels like someone actually lives there rather than a sterile hotel environment.

That View Everyone Talks About

Look, I’ve stayed in places that promise great views and deliver… well, a parking lot. This isn’t one of those situations. The western exposure means you get these incredible sunsets that paint the whole sky, and you can actually see across Cluj-Napoca’s rooftops toward the hills. I found myself timing my evenings around it, which probably sounds silly, but there you have it. The floor-to-ceiling windows don’t hurt either — whoever designed this place understood the assignment.

The Neighborhood Reality

Here’s what I wish someone had told me: Studium Green isn’t exactly in the historical center, but that’s actually not a bad thing. You’re far enough out to avoid the tourist crowds and late-night noise, but still close enough to get downtown in about fifteen minutes by car. There’s a decent restaurant within walking distance, plus some local spots that clearly cater more to residents than visitors — which I always take as a good sign.

Why Guests Love It

That 9.2 rating makes complete sense once you’ve stayed here. It’s the kind of place that gets the details right without making a big show of it. The wifi actually works, the shower has proper water pressure, and the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a freight train. Plus, having that extra space to spread out your stuff — and actually cook a meal if you want to — makes such a difference, especially if you’re traveling for work or staying longer than a typical vacation. I’d definitely book it again, and that’s saying something considering how picky I’ve become about accommodations.

  Great looking apartment, recently decorated, very clean, large balcony with large view over the surroundings, outside parking spot ensured. Exactly as in the pictures. Nothing to complain. Supermarket within 5 min walk. Host very friendly and helpful. Would book it again anytime.

  The apartment is quite big, clean, close to Lidl and Medlife hospital.
  The kitchen was well equipped.
  Terrace was nice and had a very pretty sunset view.
  Bed was comfortable, towels were good quality.
  
  What could be improved: For a 5 days stay we would have appreciated to have coffee/dishwasher pills/trash cans enough for 5 days so we wouldn't have to buy a whole pack of each for few days.
  There is only one bathroom, not terrible but it's good to know before booking

  Imádtam. Tiszta, új, modern, nagyon szép lakás, a kilátás gyönyörű. A terasz nagy, szép a naplemente látványa.
