My room was simple but thoughtfully arranged — clean lines, decent furniture, and a bathroom that’s been updated recently enough that everything works properly. The beds are comfortable (not amazing, but you’ll sleep fine), and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. What I appreciated most was the attention to small things: good lighting for reading, sufficient outlets near the bed, and blackout curtains that actually block the morning light.

Breakfast happens in a cozy ground-floor room that feels like someone’s dining room — which, knowing Romanian guesthouses, it probably was at some point. They serve a solid spread of local breads, cheese, cold cuts, and surprisingly good coffee. The staff knows regulars by name and they’ll remember how you like your eggs after the second day. Parking is available on-site, which saves you the headache of hunting for street spots in this part of the city.
