The building can get a bit noisy if you’re facing the street (Cluj drivers aren’t exactly quiet), and the elevator is one of those tiny European ones that’ll make you rethink packing that extra suitcase. Parking can be tricky since you’re right in the city center, though the staff helped me figure out nearby options. The building also houses a decent restaurant on the ground floor, which is handy for those nights when you don’t feel like exploring.

Look, if you want to actually experience Cluj-Napoca rather than just sleep somewhere nearby, this place delivers. You’re walking distance from the main square, the botanical garden, and all those little streets where the real character of the city lives.   What could be improved: The apartment actually belongs to an old building which is still under renovation. (That is not faithfully shown in the description or host's photos)
  
  The room ventilation needs to be improved to get rid of the musty smell. The apartment provides simple basic equipment, and the mattress can't even be said to be comfortable.
  
  What's more, I found a small beehive in the bathroom on my first night, more than 5 bees humming around. The next morning I told the landlord about the situation and informed him that I decided to move out. Surprisingly, his first response was that he cannot refund me. (That somebody may get hurt is much less important than his money)
  
  Unfortunately, the whole communication is quite unfriendly (even though I didn't ask for any compensation) and furthermore, he deleted certain messages to cover up his mistake. (However, I did screenshots)

  Ne-a plăcut în primul rând locația, eram chiar în centrul orașului, la 100m de terase, tarabe, puburi, magazine. Camera este amenajata modern, curat, perfect pentru două persoane.

  What could be improved: Das Fenster konnte man nicht aufmachen, durchlüften war unmöglich. Der Ventilator war nicht zum gebrauchen ( laut und es hatte keinen Sinn die stickige Luft durchzumischen ).Beleuchtung und Lüftung im Badezimmer anzumachen war nur möglich wenn man im Zimmer auch das Licht angemacht hat. In der Nacht auf die Toilette zu gehen konnte man nur im totalen Dunkelheit. Keine Ablagefläche,keine Möglichkeit die Handtücher aufzuhängen. Ein Duschvorhang wäre vorteilhaft. Sonst kann man die Tür bald austauschen.
