The building itself has that understated Romanian elegance that doesn’t scream for attention but draws you in once you’re close enough to notice the details.

Location & Getting Around

Here’s what I really appreciated — you’re about a 15-minute walk from the main square, which means you skip the tourist chaos but can still get to everything easily. The neighborhood feels authentically Romanian, with tree-lined streets and local cafés where you’ll hear more Romanian than English. There’s decent parking available, which anyone who’s tried driving in Cluj’s city center will tell you is worth its weight in gold.

The Room Experience

My room was larger than I expected, with that clean, modern aesthetic that doesn’t feel sterile. The beds are actually comfortable (not always a given in smaller hotels), and the bathroom had proper water pressure — you know, those little things that make or break a stay. What struck me most was the attention to local touches; they’ve managed to incorporate Romanian design elements without making it feel like a theme park.

The restaurant serves solid Romanian dishes alongside international options, and I mean solid in the best way — nothing fancy, but everything’s done well. Breakfast was simple but fresh, with local breads and proper coffee. They don’t have a spa or extensive facilities, but honestly, that keeps the focus on what they do well rather than spreading themselves thin.

  Some minors adjustment as :
  – shower must to found a solution to keep the floor not to much water after showering, if someone is gonna take a long shower is gonna flooding all the room.
  – a solution between the rooms upstairs. On the last night I hade some storytelling to my roommate on the other side of the wall 😂.
  -Overall if you are tall person don’t take the cheapest rooms, otherwise you not able to fit in the bathroom, or maybe you gonna learning some new yoga techniques not invented yet.
