Here’s what I love about the location — you’re right on one of Cluj’s main arteries, but it doesn’t feel chaotic. Calea Dorobantilor is honestly one of the better streets to stay on because you can walk to the city center in about fifteen minutes, but you’re not dealing with all the late-night noise from the old town bars. The area has that lived-in feel where locals actually go about their daily business, which I find way more interesting than tourist-heavy zones.

The Room Experience

The rooms surprised me — they’re more spacious than you’d expect from the outside, and whoever designed them actually thought about how people use hotel rooms. The beds are proper comfortable (not just decent, but actually good), and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without everything ending up on the floor. What really stood out was the attention to details — the lighting works for both relaxing and getting ready, and the room temperature controls actually respond quickly.

Amenities That Matter

This four-star place gets the basics right without trying too hard to impress. The WiFi works everywhere (I tested it), and there’s reliable parking which — trust me — is worth its weight in gold in Cluj. The staff genuinely seems to know the city well, so when you ask for restaurant recommendations, they’re not just rattling off the same tourist traps everyone mentions. They’ll actually tell you where locals eat, which makes all the difference.

It’s the kind of hotel where you’d happily book the same room on your next visit because you know exactly what you’re getting, and it works.

  This is a family-run establishment. II found it homely, friendly, and very welcoming .
  Our plane arrived very late at night, and I telephoned in advance to explain that we were arriving outside the normal check-in times, and they said that was no trouble.
  There was someone waiting to welcome us when we turned up in the early hours.
  I hope to visit the city again – this time for leisure. And if I do, I will defintrly book in here again.
