Here’s the thing about staying in Florești — you’re about 15 minutes from Cluj-Napoca’s city center, but you get to skip the downtown hustle. The hotel sits on Avram Iancu street, which sounds intimidating if you don’t know the area, but it’s actually pretty straightforward to navigate. There’s decent parking available, which anyone who’s tried to park in central Cluj will appreciate. Plus, you’re close enough to zip into the city for dinner or sightseeing, but far enough out to actually get some peace.

The Room Experience

My room was exactly what I hoped for — spacious without feeling empty, modern without being sterile. The beds are genuinely comfortable (I’m picky about this), and the bathroom feels surprisingly generous for a mid-range hotel. What I really appreciated were the thoughtful touches — good lighting for reading, enough outlets where you actually need them, and blackout curtains that work. The air conditioning responds quickly too, which matters during those warm Romanian summers.

Dining & Amenities

The on-site restaurant serves solid Romanian and international dishes — nothing groundbreaking, but well-prepared and reasonably priced. I actually ended up eating there twice, which says something since I usually prefer exploring local spots. Breakfast has good variety, though it gets busy around 8:30 AM when the business travelers are rushing out. There’s also a small wellness area with a sauna, perfect after a long day of walking around Cluj or if you’re here on business.

You know what really sets this place apart? It’s that 9.1 rating, and honestly, it feels earned. The staff remembers your name, the Wi-Fi actually works throughout the building, and everything just… functions properly.   Private parking — I was very worried cause I had a packed car with mostly sports equipment, but nothing happened, it felt safe.
  Food is great, I loved the breakfast.
  Staff is helpful and super professional.
  
  What could be improved: Honestly the road is so busy even during the night and you can hear the cars. This is the only downside.
