I mean, you’re not exactly in the heart of the old town, but honestly? Sometimes you want that buffer zone between tourist chaos and a decent night’s sleep. The airport shuttle situation is seamless, and if you’re driving, there’s ample parking that doesn’t feel like an afterthought.

The Room Experience

My room was… well, actually impressive for what I expected. Clean lines, decent space, and — this matters more than people realize — proper blackout curtains that actually work. The bed was comfortable enough that I didn’t spend the night thinking about it, which is honestly the best compliment I can give hotel bedding. What really stood out was the attention to soundproofing; despite being near an airport, I barely heard any plane noise.

The on-site restaurant serves up solid Romanian fare alongside international options that don’t feel like they came from a frozen package. I had dinner there one evening — the ciorbă de burtă was actually quite good, though I realize that’s not everyone’s cup of tea. The breakfast spread was generous without being overwhelming, and the coffee? Strong enough to get you moving, which is all you really need.

  The host is very nice and ready to help, the room was exceptional clean, with all required facility. I was there for one night, because it is very convenient for flying from Cluj international airport: you can let the car for free parked on the street, keys are very easy to collect, walking distance till the airport ( 15-20 minutes ). Quite place to sleep, and be ready for the next day flight.

  The appartement is fully equipped an the landlady extremely friendly. She offered us even fresh cherries from the three in the back yard. It's close to the airport and still quiet. Definitely recommend!
