The studio layout works brilliantly for couples or solo travelers who want more than just a basic hotel room. There’s a proper seating area by those floor-to-ceiling windows, and the kitchenette is actually functional — not one of those token setups with a mini-fridge and a prayer. I mean, you’ve got real counter space and decent appliances, which comes in handy when you want to grab fresh produce from the local markets rather than eat out every meal.

Location & Getting Around

Bulevardul 21 Decembrie 1989 might sound intimidating, but it’s actually one of the main arteries cutting through the city. You’re close enough to walk to the old town center — takes about 15 minutes if you don’t mind the slight uphill stretch coming back. The trams run regularly along this boulevard, and there’s parking available if you’re driving (which I’d recommend for exploring the countryside around Cluj). What I really appreciated was being near enough to the action without dealing with the weekend noise from the bar district.

The Details That Matter

The furnishings lean modern without feeling sterile — think clean lines but with enough personality to feel homey. The bed is genuinely comfortable, not just “acceptable for a few nights,” and the bathroom has one of those rainfall showerheads that actually delivers decent pressure. Air conditioning works well during those surprisingly warm Romanian summers, and the Wi-Fi is solid throughout the apartment. You know what impressed me most though? The blackout curtains actually block light completely, which is rare in studio setups.

  A beautiful studio about a 25-minute walk from the historic city center, well connected to the rest of the city (tram, bus, and metro stops nearby). Private on-site parking. Easy check-in system (the apartment key is in a lockbox, and the code is sent by the host at the right time).
  
  Very clean, fully equipped studio with a small but functional and elegant bathroom (shower, sink, and a low, comfortable toilet), a well-equipped kitchenette with all amenities (washing machine, dishwasher, air conditioning), located on the 8th floor. The apartment has a TV with many channels and fast Wi-Fi. Stylishly and tastefully furnished, the studio is both comfortable and practical. Outside, there is a beautiful balcony with a city view, furnished with a table and chairs.
  
  The layout combines hallway, bedroom, living area, and kitchen into one coherent open space, cleverly divided into four zones that form a comfortable and functional whole.
  
  The studio is designed so that guests have everything they might need during their stay, ensuring comfort and a pleasant experience.

  My wife studies at the university which is just behind the building so the distance for her was the best. But this small apartement is really good, well-equipped, renovated.

  The entrance to the building is a little off putting but it is absolutely fine. It's clean & safe. We were met by the host who was lovely.
  Apartment is a really good size with everything you need. Romanian food is so good,we never ate in though.
  Lidl very close by.
  Balcony views are beautiful!
  Bedding had a couple of stains on it but apart from that was very clean.
