Location That Actually Makes Sense

Here’s the thing about staying on Calea Motilor — you’re basically planted in the middle of everything that matters in Cluj. The Central Park (hence the name, I assume) is literally a few minutes’ walk away, and I mean the kind of walk where you’re not huffing and puffing with your luggage. The old town’s cafes and that buzzing nightlife scene? Yeah, you can stumble back to your room without calling an Uber at 2 AM.

What I really appreciated was how this street connects you to both the university area and the business district. If you’re here for work or visiting someone at Babes-Bolyai University, you’ll get why location trumps fancy lobbies every single time.

The Apartment Setup

The space itself feels more like staying in someone’s well-maintained city flat than a typical hotel room. Each unit comes with a proper kitchen — and I’m talking about one you’d actually use, not those sad little coffee-maker setups you usually get. There’s enough counter space to prep a real meal, which honestly saved me a fortune during my week-long stay.

The furnishing is that perfect sweet spot between functional and comfortable. Nothing flashy, but everything works exactly as it should. The beds are solid, the Wi-Fi doesn’t drop every five minutes, and the bathroom has decent water pressure — you know, the basics that matter when you’re actually living somewhere.

Daily Life and Practical Stuff

Grocery shopping is stupidly easy with several markets within walking distance. There’s this great little restaurant just down the street that does incredible mici (Romanian grilled meat rolls), and the staff at Center Park actually gave me the local’s tip about when to go to avoid the lunch rush.

The parking situation is what you’d expect in a busy Romanian city center — not always simple, but there are paid spots nearby, and the apartment staff knows which streets have the best overnight options. They’re pretty helpful about that stuff without being overly pushy.

Why Guests Love It

Look, this place works because it’s honest about what it is. You’re paying for a clean, well-located apartment in Cluj-Napoca, not some five-star fantasy. The 8.6 rating makes perfect sense when you consider that most guests are probably comparing it to overpriced city center hotels that charge twice as much for half the space.

If you want room service and a concierge, book elsewhere. But if you want to actually experience Cluj like someone who lives there — shopping at local markets, cooking your own breakfast, walking to everything important — Center Park Apartment nails that experience without breaking your budget.
