This three-star spot delivers exactly what it promises — a clean, functional studio that gets the job done without any fuss. The room layout is pretty smart, actually; they’ve managed to fit everything you need into a compact space without making it feel cramped. The kitchenette is basic but functional, and I mean, having a fridge and microwave when you’re staying somewhere for more than a couple nights? That’s honestly a game-changer for keeping costs down.

Location Perks

Here’s what I really liked about the location — you’re far enough from the chaos of the old town to get some actual sleep, but close enough that a 15-minute walk gets you to all the main action. The neighborhood has this authentic Romanian feel with local shops and cafes that tourists rarely discover. There’s a decent grocery store about three blocks away, which comes in handy when you’ve got that kitchenette to work with.

The Practical Stuff

The WiFi actually works well (I was working remotely during my stay), and the bathroom is modern enough with good water pressure. Parking can be a bit tricky since it’s street parking, but honestly, that’s pretty standard for this part of Cluj-Napoca. The host was responsive when I had questions, though check-in is fairly straightforward — they send you the access info ahead of time.

Why Guests Love It

Look, this isn’t going to blow you away with fancy amenities, but sometimes that’s exactly what you want. The Central Park Studio works because it’s reliable, reasonably priced, and gives you a slice of local life that you’d miss staying in the more touristy areas. If you’re the type who values a good night’s sleep and having your own space over being right in the thick of things, this place makes sense.   We loved how well organized and spacious it is. Also the kindness of the staff to leave water and coca cola in the fridge for us. The studio has everything we would need.

  I have appreciated the apartment location, it is near the city center (10-20 min by walk).
  It was really clean and cozy, also it has a little kitchen with some plates, also a fridge.
  It is perfect for a city-break in Cluj-Napoca.
  
  What could be improved: We would like to have an earlier check-in hour ( the hour for check-in is 16:00). The guest allowed us to accommodate around 15:00, but it wasn't a big difference from the initial hour.

  Great location for great price.
  The host provides you all you need, even some basic kitchen equipment for a quick meal as well as hygiene products in the bathroom and enough towels for the whole stay which is nice 🙂 I would definitely come back.
  
  What could be improved: The bed is not as comfy for longer stay (week) but still good enough. Hot water tank could be a bit bigger for longer showers. 🙂
