This four-star apartment really gets the studio concept right. The room flows naturally from sleeping area to living space, and there’s actually enough room to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. The kitchenette is tucked away cleverly — not fancy, but it has everything you’d need if you want to grab groceries from the nearby market and cook something simple. The whole setup feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a typical hotel room, which I appreciated.

Location Perks

Here’s what I loved about the neighborhood — you can walk to the main square in about five minutes, but you’re not dealing with the constant noise and crowds. The street has this perfect balance where it feels central but still residential. There are a couple of local spots nearby that serve amazing coffee (the one two doors down opens early, which saved me more than once). You know what’s great? You can actually find parking on the surrounding streets if you’re driving, which isn’t always guaranteed in this part of town.

The Experience

What struck me most was how well-maintained everything felt. The apartment has clearly been updated recently — the bathroom is modern, the Wi-Fi actually works at decent speeds, and the heating keeps things comfortable even during Cluj’s chilly evenings. The hosts have thought through the small stuff too, like having enough outlets near the bed and decent blackout curtains. It’s those details that make the difference when you’re staying somewhere for more than just a night or two.

Why Guests Love It

That 9.3 rating makes complete sense once you’ve stayed here. You’re getting the independence of your own space with the reliability of a proper accommodation. Plus, being this close to Cluj’s old town means you can easily explore during the day and retreat to somewhere quiet in the evening. For the price point, it’s exactly what you want — comfortable, well-located, and run by people who clearly care about the guest experience without being overly formal about it.

  This is a great place to stay in Cluj-Napoca. The appartment is on the main street, more central is not possible. But at the same time it is located in a yard, in a quiet corner. I did not hear anything from the street during day or night. The place is safe. You lock the yard door yourself and no one else can come in. The door of the appartment itself is very robust and cannot be opened just like that. I felt safe all the time although the location is central and there are many people on the street. Location is perfect, you have everything just outside the door. There is a bakery, a grocery shop just across the street, and a fast food and many restaurants on the same street side. But anyway, everything is right there, whatever you need.
  It was very easy to get the keys. I was scared at first by the many instructions i got from the owner, but it´s actually really simple. The host is very helpful and answers almost immediately.
  The place itself is really great and you will find everything you need inside. I enjoyed the fresh flowers very much. Also the big bathroom and the full size tolietries. It is really nice to have a full size of a shower gel or shampoo and not worry if the small bottle will be enough. Here, even a choice between different kinds.
  There is really everything you will need in the kitchen and in the bathroom, i cannot name them all. I did not miss anything.
  I liked how the bed is above the room, it was a nice experience. But be aware, the stairs are really steep and not for everybody. And peeing at night is not so easy when you have to climb stairs down and up :).

  This studio is perfectly located in the center of the city, yet still very quiet as it is tucked inside a courtyard. The host was extremely responsive and very friendly and helpful with anything I needed. The room was very clean and the little kitchenette had everything I needed (note there is a microwave but no cooktop, which was perfect for me but should be kept in mind). The bed was comfortable, the location felt very safe, and it is central to everything. I highly recommend it.
  
  What could be improved: I had nothing negative to say. As you can see from the photos, the bed is at the top of a ladder (which is very secure) so if you don't feel comfortable climbing up a few steps, you may want to choose somewhere else. I liked it and found it cozy.

  Nagyon kedves és segítőkész a szállásadó 🙂 , a lakás elhelyezkedése szuper, a városközpont pár perc sétára van. A lakás nagyon tiszta, és jól felszerelt.

  Pozitie foarte centrala, gazda foarte prevenitoare, indicatii clare si foarte utile, curatenie exemplara, amenajare de bun gust
  
  What could be improved: Scara de acces in pat ar putea avea treptele mai apropiate. Este dificil de folosit mai ales la inceput daca este nevoie sa ajungi la baie in toiul noptii, trezit din somn.

  Singurul avantaj al locației este amplasamentul în raport cu zona unde trebuia să mă deplasez. Faptul ca am avut acces la instituțiile publice foarte repede.
  
  What could be improved: Faptul ca mirosul este imposibil se suportat pe măsura ce se sta în locație. In baie și în zona de bucătărie miroase a igrasie și mucegai. Calea de acces spre locație trece pe lângă pubelele de gunoi și aerisirile din subsolul celorlalte camere, iar mirosul de igrasie te însoțește permanent. La fiecare intrare și ieșire din locație ești nevoit să pe ți de nas. Interiorul spațiului de cazare arata ca în poze, lenjeria a fost curată, gazda a comunicat cu mine, dar din păcate mirosul nu se poate vedea.
