The old town is maybe a 15-minute walk, which sounds like nothing until you realize you’ll actually want to stroll through those tree-lined streets. There’s decent parking nearby too, which anyone who’s driven in Cluj will tell you is basically winning the lottery.

The Room Experience

My room was… well, it felt more like staying at a design-conscious friend’s place than a hotel. Clean lines, warm wood accents, and these incredibly comfortable beds that actually made me consider what brand of mattress they use. The bathroom deserves a mention too — spacious shower, good water pressure, and they’ve clearly thought about lighting (you know how hotel bathroom lighting can be brutal).

Dining & Amenities

The breakfast situation is solid — not overwhelming, but everything you’d want is there and it’s fresh. I mean, the coffee alone made early mornings bearable. There’s no full restaurant on-site, but honestly, you’re in Cluj — some of Romania’s best dining is within walking distance. The staff actually gave me recommendations that weren’t just the obvious tourist spots.
