The Central Park is a five-minute walk, and honestly, that’s where you’ll want to grab your morning coffee before the city wakes up. I found myself cutting through the park to reach the old town center, which beats navigating the morning traffic on the main boulevards.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in had that crisp, business-traveler efficiency you’d expect from a four-star Marriott, but with thoughtful touches that surprised me. The bed was genuinely comfortable — I’m picky about mattresses — and the workspace actually worked for getting things done. What I appreciated most was the soundproofing; you’d never guess you’re in the middle of a university city with all the student energy that brings.

Dining & Daily Rhythms

The on-site restaurant serves decent international fare, though honestly, with Cluj’s food scene right outside your door, I’d suggest venturing out for dinner. Breakfast, however, is where they shine — it’s comprehensive without being overwhelming, and the coffee is actually good. I watched business travelers and tourists alike settle into a comfortable morning routine there, which says something about how the space works for different types of guests.

  Clean, modern, has elevators, and is a 5-10 minute walk to the beautiful historical center. Our room is a good size. Bed and pillows are very comfortable.
  
  Their breakfast buffet is the best of our trip so far. All of the hot dishes are hot. There is a huge selection of cheeses and meat. Nice selection of fresh fruit.

  Hotel was extremely lovely. Hotel is extremely new, very modern amenities with a lovely shower and comfortable bed. Room very large size room and air conditioning was excellent.   New facility with well trained and professional personal. Out of everyone, Claudia from reception was extremely professional and made everything to make me feel valued and welcome. Room was very clean and location excellent.

  We enjoyed the hotel stay very much. The property is new, well furnished and room is very clean. We had the best sleep in this hotel during our stay for Untold Festival – the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, even the lunch at the restaurant was delicious and decently priced (they maintained the prices) as compared to the escalated prices at nearby restaurants because of the Untold Festival.
  
  What could be improved: We got the mini corner suite which was a little pricier but we still enjoyed the stay very much.

  We stayed at this beautiful hotel for Untold festival and I got to say this hotel blew my mind! The whole property is new, clean and immaculately spotless!
  
  Service was impeccable at the onset of our checking in. The counter staff are friendly and helpful. One incident to note was that we drove and our car was too long and luckily a kind gentleman rushed out to the carpark lift to stop us in time, and directed us to park at the sidewalk instead.
  
  Breakfast is amazing – a decent spread of eggs (my favourite), fruits galore (it’s their peach and prune season), cheeses (I lost count.. was it 10, 15 types?), and cakes (another one I lost count, but who’s counting 😊..the cheesecake, cream puff and brownies are to die for). The service crew (in particular the beautiful and friendly blonde Romanian lady who wished us a great time at Untold) greeted us and were attentive to our needs.
  
  The room was comfortable, and very clean. Pillows are fluffy yet solid. The toilet is clean and spotless. There was an unblocked view from the window which allowed us to see the chapel across the skyline.
