It’s one of those places that doesn’t scream for attention from the street, but once you’re inside, you realize you’ve stumbled onto something pretty great. The three-star rating honestly feels conservative — this place punches way above its weight class. I mean, with a 9.8 rating from guests, there’s clearly something they’re doing right.

Location & Neighborhood

Here’s the thing about Cluj-Napoca — location is everything, and this place nailed it. You’re literally in the heart of the old town, which means you can walk to pretty much everything worth seeing. The couples who stay here consistently give the location a perfect 10, and honestly, I get it. You’ll find yourself wandering out for coffee in the morning and discovering little cafes and shops you never would have found otherwise. The fact that it scored a 10.0 for location isn’t just marketing speak — you really are in the sweet spot of the city.

The design elements (hence the name, I suppose) actually work without being pretentious about it.   The place is located perfectly in the center. It was very beautifully furnished and extremely clean. Only one or two more gadgets in the kitchen might have been nice when you plan to cook something there as well. Also the communication with the owner was very helpful and they provided us with advice for restaurants and such.

  The place is located perfectly, and the apartment is clean and comfortable. I didn't see the staff in person, and we mainly communicated with whatsapp, but the overall experience was amazing. They tried their best to problems I encountered.

  Apartment was clean, modern, and well-furnished. Modest size but good enough for solo traveler. Good location: About 5 minute walk to main square. Good air conditioning, wifi, and washing machine. Smooth contactless check in and out. Host was friendly and responsive.
  
  What could be improved: Only a couple of minor negatives:
  The washing machine is inside a cabinet, which bangs loudly against the wall during spin cycle. However, I stuck a towel back there, and that kept it quiet.
  
  Occassionally there were noises from the nearby main street, but overall it was quiet enough.
