When I first arrived on Strada Augustin Presecan, I wasn’t expecting much from the building’s exterior — but step inside and you’ll understand why this four-star apartment has such an incredible 9.9 rating. The owners clearly put thought into every detail, from the modern furnishings to the way natural light floods through the windows.

The Space Itself

This isn’t your typical hotel room — it’s a proper one-bedroom apartment that actually feels like home. The kitchen is fully equipped (I mean really equipped, not just a mini-fridge and microwave situation), so you can cook proper meals if you want to save money or just crave something familiar. The living area flows naturally into the bedroom, and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. The bed itself is surprisingly comfortable — I’m talking quality mattress and linens that don’t feel scratchy.

Location & Getting Around

Here’s what’s great about this spot: you’re in a residential neighborhood that feels authentically Romanian, but you’re not stuck in the middle of nowhere. The city center is totally walkable if you’re up for it, or grab a quick taxi ride for just a few lei. What really sets this place apart though is the dedicated parking space — and if you’ve ever tried to park in Cluj’s old town, you’ll know that’s worth its weight in gold.

The Neighborhood Experience

Walking around this area, you’ll pass local cafés where Romanian is the only language on the menu, small grocery stores where the owners remember regular customers, and tree-lined streets that feel worlds away from tourist crowds. There’s a bakery about two blocks down that opens early and sells the kind of fresh bread that makes you question everything you thought you knew about carbs. The whole vibe is more “living like a local” than “staying at a hotel,” which some people love and others might find too quiet.

  Didn't have to contact the host often because everything went quite smoothly. However, the few times I decided to reach out, I didn't have to wait long for a response.

  M-am simțit ca acasă!
  Apartamentul este extrem de luminos, curat și comod exact cum mi-aș fi dorit pentru un sejur liniștit la Cluj. Totul este nou, amenajat și utilat modern, cu mult bun gust și atenție la detalii.
  Am găsit în apartament absolut tot ce aveam nevoie, și chiar mai mult decât mă așteptam: două rânduri de prosoape (deși am călătorit singură), pastile pentru mașina de spălat vase, cafea, mop deja pregătit cu detergent, gel de duș, șampon, papuci de casă și… UMBRELE! Mici detalii care fac diferența și arată grijă din partea gazdei.
  Terasa este mare și deschisă – fără bloc în față, ceea ce oferă un plus de intimitate și lumină naturală. Chiar dacă nu am venit cu mașina, am remarcat că zona are suficiente locuri de parcare aerisite ( cu barieră ), iar apartamentul beneficiază de loc propriu în garaj.
  Vizavi sunt Mega Image și Carrefour, locația este foarte ușor accesibilă, iar Uber/Bolt găsesc imediat adresa fiind chiar la stradă. Accesul în apartament se face pe bază de cod, nu am avut grija cheii. Există lift în bloc, deși apartamentul e la etajul 1.
  Un alt aspect important pentru mine: liniștea. Nu se aude nimic din apartamentele vecine, semn că este foarte bine izolat fonic. Cartierul este liniștit, iar în apropiere se află și o biserică – un detaliu care m-a bucurat. Traficul este redus, mașinile circulă încet, ceea ce contribuie la atmosfera relaxantă.
  
  Recomand din toată inima! Este genul de apartament în care ți-ar plăcea să revii oricând ai drum prin Cluj.
