Here’s what I love about staying in this part of Cluj-Napoca — you’re close enough to everything that matters, but far enough from the crowds that you actually feel like you’re experiencing the real city. The historic center is just a short walk away, which means you can easily explore the main attractions during the day and then retreat to this quieter corner when you need a break. I mean, there’s something to be said for being able to grab coffee at a local café without fighting through tour groups, you know? Plus, the fact that there’s parking right on site is honestly a game-changer if you’re driving — finding a spot in the city center can be a real headache.

The room I stayed in was thoughtfully designed without being flashy about it.   I arrived to Cluj late, and was need of a room for the night. I found this from booking.com. For my first time being in Romania, it exceeded my expectations for the price as well. The host was amazing, and even let me in late. She also helped me with more info about the country. Free wifi as well. Very easy and cozy.
