Strada Traian is one of those streets that puts you right where you want to be without the tourist trap feeling. Walk five minutes and you’ll hit Piața Unirii — that’s the main square everyone talks about. But honestly, some of my favorite discoveries were the little cafés and shops you stumble across just wandering the immediate neighborhood. There’s decent parking nearby if you’re driving, though you really don’t need a car once you’re settled in.

What Makes It Work

The 9.3 rating isn’t just numbers — it shows in how everything actually functions. The Wi-Fi works properly (trust me, this matters), the shower has good pressure, and the beds are genuinely comfortable. I’ve stayed in places with higher star ratings that couldn’t get these basics right. What I appreciated most was the space to spread out — you’re not living out of a suitcase in a cramped hotel room.

  – great location close to the old town, supermarkets etc.
  – lots of cooking utensils, pots etc and having a washing machine is really nice!

  – the apartment gets really hot and stuffy at night. A fan was provided but it didn’t do much

  Az apartman jó helyen van, 10 perc séta a belváros. Kisbolt van alatta, ez jól jöhet este, reggel.
  
  What could be improved: A parkolásra egy másik háztömbben volt lehetőség, 6-7 percre az apartmantól. Ha szerettünk volna beállni a garázsba, a szállásadót kellett hívni. Ez kellemetlen volt, annak ellenére, hogy a szállásadó rendes volt.
